Young football stars in the Netherlands introduced to teqball
Young football stars in the city of Leeuwarden have been introduced to teqball following the addition of a Teq table to Sportpark Kalverdijkje Noord, the complex where the SC Cambuur Youth Academy teams train.
SC Cambuur currently compete in the Eredivisie, the top tier of Dutch football, after winning the second division title in the 2020-21 season. The SC Cambuur Youth Academy has some of the most exciting prospects in the Netherlands, who are now able to raise their game even further through honing their skills on the teqball table.
To mark the addition of the table to the complex, SC Cambuur first team players Sekou Sylla, Jhondly van der Meer and Roy van Mameren competed in a demonstration match against academy players Niels ten Veen and Matthias Nartey.
