TEQ Sri Lanka conducts its very first official tournament in Kilinochchi on April 12, 2021. TEQ Sri Lanka has been undertaking various activities for the development of Teqball since its birth in 2020. Despite the COVID-19, TEQ Sri Lanka has already done many activities, especially developed more than 20 clubs and produced 25 plus referees and coaches as well as conducted seminars and webinars to educate the coaches and referees. The programmes were facilitated by the President Mr Gamini Jayasinghe and the Project Manager Mr Gobinath Sivarajah.

TEQ Sri Lanka's one of the hubs is Kilinochchi as it is located in the middle of all other districts of the Northern Province. Therefore, TEQ Sri Lanka has decided to conduct a Teqball Friendly Tour – Kili 2021 among the clubs in the Northern province. The tournament shall be held in the Kilinochchi Indoor Stadium on April 12, 2021, and all the clubs are expected to take part in the tournament from Jaffna, Kilinochchi, Mullaitivu, Mannar and Vavuniya.

This tournament is fully sponsored by our strategic partner - IDM Nations Campus and its Managing Director and CEO - Dr V. Jangan shall grace the opening and closing ceremonies as the chief guest.

Following this tournament, a three-day training camp for players, coaches and referees also arranged at the same place. The training programme shall be conducted by Mr Milan Szabo who is an international coach sent by FITEQ from Hungary.
