In conjunction with the University Sports League and the National Sports Secretariat, the Uruguayan Teqball Federation is organising the first University Teqball Tournament, MiDinero Cup, which will be held throughout June.

The initiative is seeking to engage the next generation of talent in the sport-loving country, and marks the federation’s latest step to grow the sport with young people.

The competition will be held in the Plaza de Deportes Nº 2 of Montevideo, with a focus on gender equality in all aspects of the event.

The format will consist of 16 pairs with group stage in a first instance and then the finals, over a two-day period.
