Last month Burgenland Sport and the Austria Teqball Federation organized a press conference to introduce the joint promotion Teqball Burgenland Tour. The goal of the tour is to further develop and promote Teqball in Austria and to support FITEQ in its growth in Europe.

As part of the press conference, which took place in the VIVA sports center, the headquarters of the Austria Teqball Federation, Heinrich Dornauer, Provincial Councilor for Sports of the Burgenland Provincial Government, presented the joint project to the regional media and the ORF.

Steqerz, a Hungarian Teqball club, offered the media a live-action demonstration to show off the speed, excitement and fun of the sport.

Throughout October and November, a promotional tour brings Teqball to schools and sports clubs in the three regions of Burgenland, with the aim that Teqball continues to make great strides towards international inclusion and accessibility.

FITEQ would like to thank the President of the Austrian Teqball Association Alexandra Koncar and the President of Teqball Burgenland, Georg Pangl, for initiating and implementing this project and for the ongoing good work in expanding the sport at national and regional level.
