Teqball excites in Mexico as part of Hungarian Culture Festival
A teqball demonstration has taken place in Guadalajara, Mexico as part of the Weeks of Hungarian Culture, a three-month festival taking place throughout Mexico from 26 August - 16 December featuring exhibitions of all artistic genres of Hungarian culture such as music, dance, film, fine art and, of course, sport.
Teqball was featured as part of “The legacy of Hungarian football in Mexico" event, which was hosted by Guadalajara-based Liga MX team Club Atlas, as part of a tribute to the legendary Hungarian-born Liga MX manager Árpád Fekete.
The event was a big success, with the Hungarian Ambassador in Mexico H.E. Zoltán Németh and Club Atlas President Víctor Flores Cosío both in attendance.
Following the occasion, the Hungarian embassy and the Mexican Teqball Federation donated a teqball table to Club Atlas and began discussions for the club to host a teqball tournament next year.
FITEQ would like to thank everyone involved and wishes Club Atlas all the best for the 2023 Liga MX Torneo Clausura!
