The International Teqball Federation (FITEQ), is delighted that Teqball has been included as an official medal sport at the upcoming African Beach Games 2023, which will take place in Hammamet, Tunisia, next June. 

The African Beach Games is a continental multi-sport event open to elite African athletes and organised by the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA). 

Inclusion at the Beach Games marks another historic milestone for Teqball and comes in the wake of the announcement that Teqball will be included as a medal sport at the prestigious European Games 2023 in Krakow, Poland. 

Teqball continues to grow throughout Africa, with recent events just to name a few in the Ivory Coast, Cape Verde, Burundi, Eswatini, Gambia, and Zimbabwe, which have all taken place over the summer. Teqball’s presence in Tunisia at the Games will give more African athletes and fans an opportunity to engage first-hand with Teqball, keeping momentum on the continent going for the world’s fastest growing sport.
