Podgorica hosts the last qualifier event of European Games 2023
The International Federation of Teqball (FITEQ) announces that the fourth, and last European Games qualifying event will take place in Podgorica, Montenegro from 28 - 31 March 2023.
The categories will remain the same as the previous qualifying events with women's and men’s singles and doubles, and mixed doubles being played.
The five categories adhere to the European Games qualification system, which was announced on 5 July 2022.
Earlier this month, FITEQ announced the date and venue of the second qualification event which takes place in Skopje, North Macedonia between 26 and 29 January , whilst the third qualification event will be announced by FITEQ shortly.
The usual 30,000 USD prize money for a European Teqball Tour competition will be up for grabs.
Teqball will debut as a medal sport in this year’s European Games, Europe’s premier multi-sport event. The Games will run from 21 June - 3 July 2023 in Poland and will showcase the best of Europe, with 28 sports in action across 11 cities. The Games will host 7000 athletes from 48 countries for 12 days, making Kraków & Małopolska 2023 the biggest and most gender balanced multi-sport event of the year.
