FITEQ updates World Rankings following competition return
FITEQ has issued an update to its World Rankings, following the return of FITEQ sanctioned teqball competitions with the Eger Beach Challenger Cup (14-15 August) and the commencement of the exciting new National Challenger Series. FITEQ’s World Rankings were not updated during the COVID-19 enforced break in competition, in order to ensure parity for all teqball players.
Adrian Duszak has retained his number one ranking in singles, with current world champion and triple gold medallist at the first National Challenger Series event, Ádám Blázsovics, ranked second. In doubles Blázsovics / Bányik have secured their position as world number one while Marojevic / Mitro maintained their place as second.
National Challenger Series events are set to take place all over the world in the coming weeks and months, building on the success of the first event held in Hungary (29-30 August). This return to competition means FITEQ will resume the monthly updates to its World Rankings and prize money lists.
