Global football stars join world champion teqers in playing teqball to keep active
A host of global football stars, as well as the current Teqball World Champions, have shared videos of themselves playing teqball at home to help keep fit and healthy during the global pandemic caused by the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19).
Brazilian internationals Marcelo, David Luiz and Douglas Costa are amongst the high-profile names to have posted their teqball practice on social media over the past week. Teqball world singles and doubles champion Adam Blazsovics and his doubles partner Csaba Banyik also shared footage of their teqball skills online.
For people without teqball tables at home, the teqball community has shown its creativity by adapting home furniture to form teqball tables. Beside several teqers all around the world, Israeli teqball talent Ankona Maor, has also demonstrated how this can be done.
FITEQ has promoted the originality of Maor and many others, on its social media platforms with the hashtag #StayTeqChallenge in the hope of inspiring others.
During this difficult and uncertain time for people all over the world, FITEQ is pleased that the adaptability of the sport is helping keep people active and we look forward to seeing more innovative #StayTeqChallenge entries in the weeks ahead!
