Teqball Roadshow continues in Asia and Europe
The Teqball Roadshow continues this week in countries across Asia and Europe. FITEQ General Secretary Marius Vizer Jr is leading visits to Croatia and Serbia, whilst Referee Coordinator Norbert Augusztin and Continental Development Manager Lilla Horvath will lead FITEQ delegations in Asia.
Marius Vizer Jr will be joined by a team of sport instructors in Croatia and Serbia, where they will hold meetings with senior sports officials in both countries and hold training workshops in collaboration with the respective National Teqball Federations.
Norbert Augusztin and Lilla Horvath will begin FITEQ’s visits to Asia in Kazakhstan, where they will focus on coach and referee courses in Nur-Sultan and Almaty. Horvath will then travel to Syria and Iran as part of the roadshow.
Meanwhile, Singles World Number 23 Adam Bako travels to Tajikistan for two weeks, where he will deliver coach and referee courses in four different regions. Doubles World Number 43 Soma Fordos will return to Kuwait to lead coaching courses after a previous visit was cut short due to COVID-19 restrictions. Teqball is on the rise in Kuwait and FITEQ will use this visit to further accelerate the growth of the sport in the country.
FITEQ General Secretary Marius Vizer Jr said, “The Teqball Roadshow has been a great way to continue the momentum of teqball’s growth throughout the pandemic. As the world slowly starts to return to normality, it is important that we keep travelling around the world to support our local partners with their efforts to develop teqball.”
