We sat down with FITEQ Chairman and teqball co-founder Viktor Huszár to look back on teqball’s journey so far and look ahead to what the future holds for the sport. Viktor takes us back to the very start, a time when he was experimenting with prototypes of the now instantly recognisable Teq table. Since then teqball has spread all over the world, with National Federations creating their own sporting history and FITEQ’s CSR programmes inspiring social development. In spite of the challenges posed by the pandemic, 2020 was a successful year for teqball. Building on this, Viktor has ambitious targets for 2021… the most important of which is his personal resolution to play more teqball!

Nous nous sommes assis avec le président de la FITEQ et co-fondateur du teqball, Viktor Huszár, pour revoir le parcours du teqball jusqu'à présent et envisager l'avenir de ce sport. Viktor nous ramène au tout début, à l'époque où il expérimentait des prototypes de la table de Teq, maintenant instantanément reconnaissable. Depuis cette période, le teqball s'est répandu dans le monde entier, les fédérations nationales créant leur propre histoire sportive et les programmes de RSE de la FITEQ inspirant le développement social. Malgré les défis posés par la pandémie, 2020 a été une année de succès pour le teqball. Sur cette base, Viktor a des objectifs ambitieux pour 2021... dont le plus important est sa résolution personnelle de jouer plus au teqball!
