Back-to-back LA
The Teqball season continues with the third event of FITEQ’s busiest year ever. In Los Angeles, the teqers face each other already the second time in 2023.
After the American athletes took three finals out of three at the last occasion they are expected to dominate this tournament again. All of the finalists return, however world champion Apor Györgydeák paired up with Ester Viana Mendes to dethrone this cup’s title holders, Luka Pilic & Margaret Osmundson in mixed doubles.
Another unique duo will also compete in the city of angels as four-time men’s single world champion Ádám Blázsovics arrived with Nikola Mitro who is part of one of the most dominating men’s doubles, who win three world championships trophies.
Naturally, the last WCh winner in women’s singles category, the LA-based Carolyn Greco goes into battle to succeed too.
Just as last time, at the upcoming weekend only doubles will compete and while the L.A. Convention Center hosts one more time the group and the knockout stage, the finals will be fought on Venice Beach with the beautiful Pacific Ocean in the back.
