The International Teqball Federation (FITEQ) organises the debuting Teqball tournament in South America. The tournament will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil from September 7 to 10.

The governing body of Teqball announces at Web Summit Rio that the busiest year of the sport ever will continue after the European Games in Kraków and multiple events during the summer in autumn with the tournament in Rio between 7^th and 10^th of September.

Brasil is one of the most successful country with many world championship medallists, therefore FITEQ expects huge number of spectators during the four-days battle.

The finals on the last day will be held on the well-known, iconic Copacabana Beach.
