Teqball returns to the Far East
In FITEQ’s busiest year ever, the Teqball Tour visits China and Thailand in August.
As the 15th and 16th events of FITEQ’s calendar, the Teqball family will be hosted in the Far East twice. After the African Beach Games in Hammamet, Tunisia and the European Games in Kraków, Poland, the Teqball Tour continues its journey and comes back to Asia in August.
In Qingdao, China the first Asian Teqball Tour will be held in the second part of 2023, from the 4th of August until the 6th.
With 350,000 people on a daily basis and more than 400 cultural programs, the Qingdao International Beer Festival is one of the biggest in the World. As part of the month-long ‘Asian Oktoberfest’ - as the locals nicknamed it - will guarantee the atmosphere, while Teqball and the athletes bring jaw-dropping actions and historical moments.

Only a week later, between the 10 & 13th of August, the eyes of Teqball’s World will turn to Southeast Asia again, after the outstanding SEA Games in Cambodia, as the island of Koh Samui accommodates the best teqers. This is going to be the very first time that Thailand organise a FITEQ competition.

Gábor Felegyi, Commercial and Event Director highlighted how Teqball transformed in the last couple of years. “Although Teqball was only created ten years ago, we have more and more tournaments worldwide that attract our growth in the number of broadcasting and sponsor partners,” Felegyi also emphasized the importance of FITEQ’s vision by bringing amusement and the values of sport together.
Teqball in Thailand is growing since the last edition of the world championships where Thai players had a demonstration game, while the triumphs in Dubai, at the debuting Teqball Tour in the Middle East strengthened the commitment of the supporters as their favourites won two out of three categories.
