Grindsted hosts the first FITEQ event in Denmark
From June 21st to June 23rd, 2024, Grindsted, Denmark, will be abuzz with excitement as it plays host to the Teqball Tour. The hosting country is full of great talents. Nanna Lind Kristensen who won the bronze medal at the European Games is one of them. The 18-year-old teqer is currently the 15th on the FITEQ World Ranking. Brian Mengel Thomsen is another dedicated Dane. By reaching the semifinals and finishing fourth at the World Teqball Championships 2023 in Bangkok, Mengel had his best-ever performance. Both of them will face their competition in front of the home crowd.
"We are glad to have FITEQ's event in Denmark." starts Brian Mengel Thomsen. "The Danish players are considered among the top 5 in each category but playing in front of the home crowd could give us an extra boost. In my club, plenty of young talents will debut in Grindsted as their first international teqball event which will provide them with essential experience." says the World Ranking fifth player who made a video about his historical performance in Bangkok.
As the Teqball Tour draws to a close on its final day, the excitement reaches a fever pitch with the semifinals, bronze medal games, and finals all taking place in rapid succession.
