WR - The small changes became even more important
The latest rankings preserve continuity in the top 50 of most of the categories, however, the gathered points are more important than ever.
In 2024 as the new World Ranking policies influence not only the international events but the domestic ones too, players can collect WR points even on the tier 5 tournaments. On the other hand, with the currently implemented categorisation which will debut at Madrid, as FITEQ's 250th international tournament, a better position at the WR means better chances to be eligible to compete.
Similar to February's WR, March did not experience many changes. The few leaps happened mostly because the European Teqball Tour - Lisbon points became outdated. Yet, Julien Grondin let Martin Cserekyle take his place at 7th position in men's singles as the only adjustment in the top 50. The women's singles category stayed untouched.

Hugo Rabeux's second place alongside Julian Grondin in Lisbon will be not counted anymore at WR in men's doubles, thus the world and European championships bronze medallist stepped back three positions. Singles world champion, Adrian Duszak dropped five spots to the 50th, while both Matej Kuovy from the Czech Republic and Bence Forgacs from Hungary lost four places.
Women's doubles were not affected this month as this category was not included in Lisbon two years ago. In mixed doubles, Maja Umicevic jumped back two positions to the 14th while the current women's singles title holder Raffaela Fontes also dropped 7 places along with Leonardo Santana, who is currently the 30th after he gave up five spots.
As the Teqball World Series - Paris happened two years ago, the points from the debuting event of FITEQ's second top flight will be outdated from May. This is not only important because of the FITEQ World Ranking, but the draw of the upcoming rendez-vous, the Teqball World Series - Madrid will be based upon that.
The FITEQ World Ranking list is refreshed after each month when the gained points will be added while the credits that came later than two years will be taken away.
