WR - New female athlete is on the top in XD

Two events are in the sack while four have been dropped. One nation became the real powerhouse in mixed doubles.

The event-packed summer turned into autumn with a debuting tournament and this season-high prize money Teqball World Series in Beijing.

In 2024 as the new World Ranking policies influence not only the international events but the domestic ones too, players can collect WR points even on the Tier V. tournaments. On the other hand, with the currently implemented categorisation, the two rendez-vous were held in September. They provided a great opportunity to gather points including the points of FITEQ's brand new tournament which debuted in Santarém, Portugal as well as Teqball World Series Beijing.

While the Challenger Teqball League - Santarém Cup got Tier IV., Teqball World Series Beijing was Tier II as the first one in 2024. Four events' points dropped out from FITEQ World Ranking, the Eswatini Challenger Cup, Cote D'Ivoire Challenger Cup, USA Teqball Tour - Los Angeles, and Cedars Challenger Cup.

None of the entering and leaving events included the women's singles category, thus it remained the same: Anna Izsak (HUN) leads with 4064 points, Queen of 2023, Raffaela Fontes follows her with 3504 and the world champion of 2022 is third as Carolyn Greco owns 3320 points.

Many say that the Polish prodigy is not the future, but the present. Marek Pokwap once showed his talent. First in Santarém when in doubles categories, however in Beijing only Apor Gyorgydeak managed to stop him in the final of men's singles. His campaign in the capital of China sealed him the 6th position while Bogdan Marojevic's bronze moved him ahead 3 spots to the 8th. Outside of the top 10, Zaid Eidan (KUW) bettered one place and now owns the 12th. Among the best 50, Nikola Mitro (SRB) showed the biggest leapfrog with his great performance at the Beijing Olympic Park. The three-time world champion rose 19 positions to the 31st. The Hungarian Boldizsar Levik surprised the category's reigning world champion in the Round of 16. Levik is in the 20th place by taking over 13 opponents. Honorable mention is Alexander Hamm who was the youngest competitor at the Teqball World Series Beijing however, he made too many mistakes in the Round of 32 against Benjamin Patrik Toth. Yet, he jumped ahead 22 spots and owns the 60th.

As the points of the Los Angeles event from 2022 are not counted anymore, Carolyn Greco (USA) had to give up her third place in FITEQ World Ranking women's doubles category. The lowest spot on the podium became Lea Vasas's (HUN). Nora Vicsek (HUN) won along with her partner Petra Pechy in Santarém. this triumph granted her enough points to take over world champion medallist Margaret Osmundson at the 12th position. World champion fifth in WS from Bangkok Silvia Ferrer Garcia (ESP) took the bronze in Portugal with Anna Gomez I Vila. "Chivi" is now in the top 50 at the 47th spot (+5) while her compatriot copied her jumping (+5) and has the 32th place.

Krisztina Acs (HUN), after her unmatched performance in Beijing which earned her very first Best Female Athlete of the Event award and a trophy in mixed doubles, took the second position on the ranking right behind her partner Csaba Banyik. Lea Vasas dropped back to the 4th while Adam Bako is still the 3rd. As Balazs Katz also jumped ahead, the first 5 positions are taken by Hungarians however, the Thai world champion duo, silver medallists in Beijing, Suphawadi Wongkhamchan & Phakpong Dejaroen are right behind them. Boonkoom Tipwong finished fifth at the latest Teqball World Series and now is in the 40th position (+10) and although Areeya Homdee (THA) dropped out in the Round of 16, she also moved ahead by 8 places to the 45th. Ewa Kaminska & Patryk Kaminski also finished the event in the R16 but better their positions. Ewa is right in front of Areeya on the 44th while Patryk is right behind her on the 46th.

Adam Bako (HUN) seemed very disappointed after the loss against the Thais in men's doubles, yet the fifth place in Beijing secured him the 6th position, taking over the Romanians, Apor Gyorgydeak and Kinga Barabasi. Matyas Odnoga the partner of Bako also jumped ahead and just one place shy of the top 10. Ahead of him, Tipwong got in the créme-de-la-créme of MD with their bronze medal. Pokwap who won this category in Santarém and finished fifth in Beijing this time with Duszak collected enough points to be named as the "biggest leaper" on the list's first 30. Toth & Levik's twosome also finished fifth and while Toth moved ahead to 37th place (+15) the latter is now at 42th (+12).

The season does not stop. The field prepares for the World Teqball Championships 2024 which will be held in Ho Chi Minh City between December 4th to 8th, the upcoming month also provides possibilities to gather more and more FITEQ World Ranking points. As 2024's last Teqball World Series, Budapest will host the athletes, then Malaga will organise the second CTL rendez-vous, the Challenger Teqball League - Malaga Marca Cup, while the third stop will be held in Szombathely on October 25-26.

The FITEQ World Ranking list is refreshed after each month when the gained points will be added while the credits that came later than two years will be taken away.
